Ride along as Zack makes his calls into KJVL and navigates his first solo xc. On the way back he picked up a wicked tailwind and managed the 3rd fastest ground speed ever recorded in a Flight design light sport airplane 149kts. Musicians make great pilots. This music is by Zack on his guitar. Be sure to check out flyingmusicians.org for flying scholarships as well.

love these. I broke so many, but always find one for a great price. Waiting on my next one to arrive. I also have the ultra if i want more stability when setting it down on a surface, and i think it has a wider shot. But i just have to have a mino in my pocket. I'll have 3. An ultra, a 480p, 4:3 ration version, and my latest 720p mino.

I bought one of these when I was in my early 20's, took it out drinking one night, woke up the next morning and it wasn't in my jacket. so choked that I lost it. with all the insane camera's out today I wish a company would make something like this again, DJI's Osmo Pocket and GoPro Hero 10 are close but they're not the same.

I know the FEELING, my instructor had me doing extremely short left base n lil windy. You did awesome job, I’m sure you got so so much more time by now but I’m also certain it’s a day we never forget! Curious of when u solo time wise n how was wind? Another question how were you steering feet? I’m very mechanically inclined and I kept going side side it seemed n I found that stressful landing as I just wasn’t sure of myself. My GoPro died n I never got footage of my first 4 landing which really sucks! Nice to watch these n see what we can do or should of etc. Thank you for posting, this really is great for us all! The Instuctor I know of is real old and does things the old way and flies in an old school 172. The electronics are where it’s at. I’m a different kind of learner these days and can’t afford all that classroom time. Not being conceited, just happen to know plenty already and would like to show someone that I can.

It seems the sport pilot was designed for very small people. I want my sport pilot license but the 1360 pound to light. Im 300 pounds, if my flight instructor is 250 to 300 pounds most of the LSA aircraft would be to heavy. Making my only option, Private pilot in a Cessna 172. Thats also cost alot more. I hope the FAA will raise to weight of LSA in the future so big guys like myself can enjoy aviation.
